Nurse Research Program Manager
Judith Resick is a nurse research project manager for faculty investigators of the Palliative Research Center. She provides project management, scientific/technical/grant writing and editing, strategic planning, staff development, and nursing expertise for several research projects and quality improvement initiatives for the group. Judith holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Duquesne University and dual Master’s degrees in Public Health and Community Health Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining PaRC, she was a nurse research coordinator for the Department of Neurology and then a research program and operations manager at the Center for Craniofacial and Dental Genetics, all at the University of Pittsburgh. She was also formerly an inpatient staff nurse and educator at Forbes Hospice, and a clinical nurse specialist on the inpatient neuroscience research unit at the National Institutes of Health’s Warren G. Magnuson Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD.
