Research Assistant
I graduated from Ithaca College in 2014 with a BA in Communication Studies (Formerly Speech Communication). I initially thought I was going to pursue a career in communications or politics but was ultimately drawn to the health sciences. I worked as a Patient Services Representative at UPMC-Renaissance Family Practice in Millvale for three years and realized that I wanted to eventually get more involved in health science/clinical research, so I am excited to be a part of the Palliative Care Research team, especially with its emphasis on healthcare communication.
Ask me about: I am currently in the part time Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology program at Chatham University. I take hip-hop and Bollywood fusion dance classes at my cousin’s dance studio every Wednesday evening. I enjoy reading, running, listening to podcasts, and attempting to cook.
