As a research assistant at PaRC, Kelsey is primarily involved in recruiting patients for the PEACe research study led by Dr. Yael Schenker. Before joining the PaRC team in 2018, Kelsey held a clinical position in Urology at UPMC Mercy hospital, where she discovered her passion for comprehensive patient care. Having seen firsthand the obstacles patients and families face while coping with cancer, Kelsey is proud to be a part of palliative care research aimed at improving patient and caregiver quality of life.
Kelsey graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016, where she majored in Biology. In addition to being a Pitt graduate, Kelsey is a certified EMT with an extensive background in diverse patient care and clinical practice.
