Join Us at “Pathways to Palliative Care”

(October 2, 2023, updated October 24, 2023). The Palliative Research Center is hosting Pathways to Palliative Care, an evening of palliative care storytelling and networking with the Palliative Research Center (PaRC) and other University of Pittsburgh- and UPMC-affiliated palliative care researchers, faculty, students, and clinicians interested in palliative care research.

The event will take place November 2, 2023 from 5-7PM, in the Thomas E. Starzl Biomedical Science Tower (Room BST 100) at 200 Lothrop Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Attendees will enjoy food and drinks while listening to short stories that highlight the world of palliative care research, followed by a speed networking session. Students and early career professionals will chat one-on-one with palliative care research experts, fostering valuable connections and gaining insights into palliative care research.

Invited to attend are:

  • All levels of students, medical trainees (residents, fellows, etc.), and early-career clinicians from palliative care-related fields who are curious about palliative care research and seeking to make connections in the field.
  • Faculty, researchers, and clinicians linked to palliative care and palliative care research who are interested in providing insights into the field and building bridges for collaboration.
