Patients with multiple myeloma, a life-threatening blood cancer, frequently experience pain and reduced quality of life. With this program of research, Dr. Belcher examines how medication adherence influences pain and quality of life over time, and how cancer-related financial hardship experienced due to cost of cancer care may influence how patients do or do not take these medications.
